So it makes sense to use your newly converted electric car for short trips like dropping kids off to school, going to the shops for groceries or just driving around the city. On the weekend, you can then revert back to your conventional gasoline/diesel vehicle for longer haul travel if need be.

As you know, city driving habits quickly empties the gasoline tank, so it's much wiser in the long run to use your electric car in the city and use your gasoline car outside the city. You'll end up saving heaps of money by doing this.

Did you know that there used to be more electric powered cars on the road than there were gasoline powered ones during 1900-1910?
